Cookies Policy



Throughout this Cookies Policy the following definitions will apply:

Project” means a technology project placed on our Site;

Project Creator” means a person who registers with us and sets up a Project on our Site;

Project Funder” means a person who wishes to help fund a Project and registers with and on our Site;

Technofunding” “we”, “us”, “our” means Technofunding Ltd, 2 Woodberry Grove, Finchley, London N12 0DR England;

Site” means our website, www.technofunding.com;

Visitor” means all persons who visit and use our Site, whether registered or unregistered, a business or a consumer, including those persons who become Project Funders and Project Creators.


Technofunding will, if you agree, store information on your browser or the hard drive of your computer or device and will use various technologies to distinguish you from other Visitors to our Site to assist us in collecting and storing information when you visit our Site or receive email from us.  This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our Site and also allows us to improve our Site.  For example, we may use web beacons and client-side tracking objects for record keeping purposes and for collecting information about your usage of the Technofunding Site, email responses, and tracking.  For additional information on our privacy practices, visit our Privacy Policy at https://www.technofunding.com/privacy

Web Beacons

In order to determine a Visitors’ ability to receive HTML email in addition to whether or not an email has been opened, we include a "web beacon" in a majority of the HTML email messages we send.   A web beacon (actually a small .gif image) is activated when an HTML email is opened via a request for the image on our servers. This capability helps us send email in a format that you can read and enables us to track the aggregate number of emails opened.  Web beacons do not collect any personal data.  If you do not want to receive email messages with web beacons you can choose to receive emails in text (non-HTML) format.  Technofunding also use and provide you with the capability to track when a URL that has been clicked inside an email message sent by our system.  Technofunding use this functionality to track which links were clicked and in what quantity, as well as the aggregate number of links clicked.  This click tracking functionality does not collect any personal data.


Client-Side Tracking Objects

Client-side tracking objects (commonly called cookies or JavaScript) are small files that are placed on your computer or device by websites that you visit.  Such files are used to track your experience on our Site, make our Site work more efficiently, enable extra functionality of our Site, and provide Technofunding with additional information about your visit to our Site.  Cookies also allow us to track overall Site usage and determine areas that our Visitors prefer.  Technofunding are able to make your visit to our Site easier by recognizing you when you return and providing you with a customized experience.

Information gathered through use of cookies will not contain personal data per se.  However, when you become a Project Creator or Project Funder on Technofunding’s Site and submit personal data on ours or our Project Funders’ websites, Technofunding may, with your consent, link your personal data with cookies or other identifiers associated with your visit(s) to those websites.

We may occasionally engage third parties to track and analyse information about your activity on our Site, including data gathered by cookies or web beacons to improve the Technofunding Site’s performance, run tests on effectiveness of our Site and marketing efforts, and improve Visitor experiences.  The information generated by the cookie about your use of Technofunding’s Site (including your IP address) may be transmitted to and stored on servers outside of the EEA for the purpose of evaluating your use of our Site, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.  This information may also be transferred to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties further process the information on our behalf.
